We ought to obey God rather than man. God never changes to meet the needs of man. His word tells us He is the same yesterday, Today, and Forever.
As I am reading my bible today and I went online to find a scripture. It lists the different versions of the bible. I was shocked to find one of the mainline denominations has now written a bible that is gender inclusive.
Acts5:29 27 When they had brought them, they had them stand before the Council. The high priest interrogated them, 28 saying, “We gave you strict orders not to continue teaching in this name, and yet, you have filled Jerusalem with your teaching and intend to bring this Man’s blood upon us.” 29 But Peter and the apostles answered, “We must obey God rather than men.
Hebrews 13: 8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today, and forever.
God created man and woman, and this comes from the book of Genesis. These words from God teach us that God created man and woman and he intended for them to stay that way. Going back again to the scripture Hebrews 13:8. God does not change He is always the same throughout all generations.
Numbers 23:19 “God is not a man, that He would lie, nor a son of man, that He would change His mind;”
You see God does not lie! So how can we change what God has ordered and set into place? He created human beings in His image male and female. God does not want us to associate with the works of darkness and anything that is contrary to God is darkness.
Romans 16:17-20 17 Now, I urge you, brothers and sisters, keep your eye on those who cause dissensions and hindrances contrary to the teaching which you learned and turn away from them. 18 For such people are slaves, not of our Lord Christ but of their own appetites; and by their smooth and flattering speech, they deceive the hearts of the unsuspecting. 19 For the report of your obedience has reached everyone; therefore I am rejoicing over you, but I want you to be wise in what is good, and innocent in what is evil. 20 The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus be with you. (NAS)
If we are in Christ Jesus God has crushed Satan under our feet and we should walk every day in that manner. No, we are not to change what God has created! How can a church turn to the works of darkness? All I can say is it must not have been grounded in truth. In Jesus’s own words he said, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father except through Me.”
So God The Father, Jesus, The Son, and The Holy Spirit will not and do not change! If you are teaching anything different than this word of God then you are a liar and walk-in total darkness!
Now as far as man and woman God made it plain and simple it is the utter works of darkness that want to change it.
Genesis 5:1,2 and 18–25 1 This is the book of the generations of Adam. On the day when God created man, He made him in the likeness of God. 2 He created them male and female, and He blessed them and named them “mankind” on the day when they were created. (NAS)
18 Then the LORD God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone; I will make him a helper suitable for him.” 19 And out of the ground the LORD God formed every animal of the field and every bird of the sky, and brought them to the man to see what he would call them; and whatever the man called a living creature, that was its name. 20 The man gave names to all the livestock, and to the birds of the sky, and to every animal of the field, but for Adam, there was not found a helper suitable for him. 21 So the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon the man, and he slept; then He took one of his ribs and closed up the flesh at that place. 22 And the LORD God fashioned into a woman the rib which He had taken from the man and brought her to the man. 23 Then the man said, “At last this is bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called ‘woman,’ Because she was taken out of man.” 24 For this reason a man shall leave his father and his mother, and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh. 25 And the man and his wife were both naked, but they were not ashamed. (NAS)
Just so no one is confused here, God gave Adam the authority to name everything on the earth including his wife. Adam called her woman and he named her Eve. God let men run wild with his thoughts and actions and this created havoc upon the earth and it still does. How can anyone confuse God’s words that clearly say men and women were given over to their own degrading passions and not know what that means? They are clearly blind to the truth! That is why they are ever running after lies! Gods word says;
Romans 1:26-32 26 For this reason God gave them over to degrading passions; for their women exchanged natural relations for that which is contrary to nature, 27 and likewise the men, too, abandoned natural relations with women and burned in their desire toward one another, males with males committing shameful acts and receiving in their own persons the due penalty of their error.28 And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a depraved mind, to do those things that are not proper, 29 people having been filled with all unrighteousness, wickedness, greed, and evil; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, and malice; they are gossips, 30 slanderers, haters of God, insolent, arrogant, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents, 31 without understanding, untrustworthy, unfeeling, and unmerciful; 32 and although they know the ordinance of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of death, they not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them.
Definition of degrading: (to lower to an inferior or less effective level, to bring to low esteem or into disrepute, to drag down in moral or intellectual character, to lower in grade, rank, or status: demote.)Merriam-Webster
Can you find anything positive in degradation? Stop listening to the lies! You know the truth.
If you are a Christian you are to run from lies and deception! Do not let the dissensions and hindrances pull you into the agendas of the people who follow after darkness!
